Announcing New Partnership With Aviation ID Australia

ALG and Aviation ID Australia have recently signed an agreement to provide ASIC application/renewal services as an extension of its services due to changes taking affect as of 1st August 2017. ALG will act as an agent to verify identity upon completion of the application.

All applicants will register online as per usual, then upon acceptance of the application, individuals will come into our office to collect their ASIC with their accompanying identification verification documents. Applicants will no longer receive their card by registered post and must attend the face-to-face meeting with original documentation.

This includes:

A. Start of your identity in Australia.

• Australian Birth Certificate (no extract or card)
• Australian Citizenship Certificate
• Entry Visa (Australian Visa applies to New Zealand citizens)
• ImmiCard

B. Your identity linked by photo and signature.

• Australian Driver’s License
• Passport

C. Evidence of your identity within the community. 

• Medicare Card
• Marriage Certificate
• Current ASIC

D. Your current residential address. (only required if categories A, B or C do not include your residential address)

• Utility bill
• Rates notice

E. Recent Passport Photograph (no older than 6 months)

(for a complete new applications/renewals)

Note:

• Police Check: If you have had a permanent residential address outside Australia in the last 10 years, you need to provide a police check from those jurisdictions you have been living under. • Your identification documents must contain exact name matches, unless the name variation is supported by a government issued linking document (e.g. marriage or change of name certificate).
• Foreign language documents must be professionally translated. The Department recommends the use of translators accredited by the National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters (NAATI). For more information please refer to the NAATI website: www.naati.com.au
• When picking up your new ASIC remember to bring old ASIC (Only for ASIC renewal).
