Maintenance Watch Engineer

ALG is currently in search of a Maintenance Watch Engineer to join our aviation client located at Brisbane Airport. This position involves offering technical assistance for maintenance work packages, aircraft defects, and engineering requests. The successful candidate will oversee deferred defects, coordinate resources and technical input to ensure timely resolution, and assist with aircraft charter requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate AOG rectifications efficiently to optimise scheduled operations.
• Provide technical support for scheduled work packages and arising defects to enhance dispatch reliability and on-time performance.
• Review line scheduled maintenance and deferred defects before their due dates.
• Review maintenance records promptly upon receipt to maintain efficiency.
• Support technical requests raised via the CAMO database promptly and effectively.

Requirements:

• CASA Licensed
• Strong background in engineering maintenance
• Full working rights in Australia
